A court system spokesperson said Thursday that former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has filed a misdemeanor and sexual offense complaint in Albany City Court.

The filing comes two months after Cuomo resigned in shame following accusations of sexual harassment against the three-term Democratic nominee by several women.

Details of the allegations against Cuomo in the pending criminal complaint were not immediately available Thursday.

“Since this is a sexual offense, a revised complaint will be available soon,” said Lucien Chalvin, a spokesperson for the state court system.

An indictment report issued by the state attorney general’s office in August concluded that he sexually harassed at least 11 current and former employees, including the state police officer charged with his preventive responsibility and women outside the government.

Attorney General Letitia James, herself a Democrat, said his behavior violated state and federal laws.

At least five New York state district attorney’s offices are investigating possible crimes by Cuomo against some of these women.

Cuomo, whose father Mario Cuomo served three full terms as governor of New York, avoided the possibility of his impeachment by resigning.
