Sled Dragging for Athletic Development

Description:

“Sled pulling is a great tool for building your working capacity, improving your recovery between intense training sessions and building serious levels of total body strength!”

Dear Strength Athlete or Fitness Professional:

Are you looking for a versatile training app that will result in a variety of workouts but don’t want to break the bank?

The app you need is sled. Pulling sleds has become one of the most popular training strategies at the collegiate level for conditioning purposes.

Tired of being unconditional on the field or on the field?

Tired of seeing your team being manhandled day in and day out with no end in sight?

Does next year’s salary depend on this year’s performance?

Hi, we are the Diesel crew and have strength and conditioning coaches and competitive strength athletes.

We’ve seen just about everything in the strength and conditioning field, and we’ve tried all the tools and tricks, too.

We firmly believe that pulling sleds is an exercise every athlete should do to get the most out of their training time and to be the best they can be in competition.

We also believe that pulling sleds doesn’t have to be the same old chore that usually turns out. You know the deal. Load the weight onto the sled, attach the sled to the harness, and place the strap across your body. Now swipe!

Sliding drag doesn’t have to be boring anymore!

With this complete training resource, you’ll be able to get the training benefits of sled pulling 50x with a variety of exercises that we’ve crafted most people have never seen before. Athletes won’t know what hit them after just one workout with this weapon of exercise.

what are you waiting for? Get this guide right away!

When we decided to make a sled training guide, we kept two things in mind to separate our book from all the rest out there. First, it must be different not just for the sake of difference. It should have followed Total Performance Sports’ philosophy of working hard and no shortcuts, it should have had legitimate workouts you’ve never seen before, not fluff, and it should have lived up to our reputation for excellence. Secondly, it must be written by someone who is going on the march and living it. We didn’t want a keyboard geek who, three articles a week out of new training programs, would write something with our name on it. It had to be written by a real person, someone who represented the qualities we wanted and someone who could take sledding to the next level. And only one name was considered: The Diesel Crew. The Diesel Crew are known throughout the industry as leaders in the power field and anyone who knows them, knows they are the real deal. Smitty’s grandfather outdid this guide. It is a great product. I guarantee you that the exercises in this book are the exercises that you have not seen before, and I also guarantee that if you do these exercises, you will become strong and you will become agile and you will become agile. The Diesel Crew shows you how, now all you have to do is get to work. CJ Murphy, MFS Total Performance Sports 11 Victoria Street Everett, MA 02149 617-387-5998

The Ultimate Sled Dragging Manual is the go-to resource for anyone wanting to learn about sled pulling. The Diesel Crew takes you through it all from top to bottom explaining the what, why, how and programming of sled pulling. Increase your GPP and take your training program to the next level with sled pulling! Brandon Johnson, SCCC, owner of CSCS and founder of Xfortitude Training Systems, LLC

I train at GPP for military/law enforcement. I use an improvised tire sled and drag it down the sidewalk. It does not slide well and jumps because it sticks to the ground. I used a relatively light weight (50 to 70 lbs). Since getting the manual, I’m using a much heavier weight. Twice what you used before! What a world of difference! Sled pulls are a great exercise for developing total body strength and extending the time you can maintain maximum effort! A great addition to any athlete’s training library! Mark M McClellan

This guide contains exercises that will enhance upper and lower body strength, upper and lower body stabilization, and strengthen the posterior chain, in addition to a myriad of other benefits.

Are you looking for ways to improve explosive power?

Are you looking for ways to improve your jumping ability?

Are you looking for ways to boost your grip strength?

There is no excuse for not being conditioned!

If you’re anything like us, you don’t have time to put in countless hours on the treadmill for your cardio workout. Your athletes are totally busy! The exercises in this guide will help you and your athletes achieve the strength training and conditioning goals you need to become champions! This guide shows you how!

“Since I finished my collegiate athletic career, I’ve had plenty of time to think about the conditioning programs I used to participate in as a student athlete. I only wish I’d known about pulling sleds when I was in school. I’m convinced that if I had got my hands on a sled, a harness, and some gear… Other simple training, I could have been so much better. The field of strength and conditioning has made amazing progress, but the imperatives of strength and conditioning remain very simple. Take advantage of the simplicity of pulling the sled and get this guide so you can achieve beyond your potential!”
