Five years ago, I was miserable and burnt out. I worked insane hours and traveled back and forth to London constantly every month for two weeks at a time. I was trying my best to take care of myself, but it wasn’t going very well. I was mentally just hanging on, trying to survive…but I was making a lot of money, so it was all worth it right? That’s how I kept justifying it to myself. I was SUCCESSFUL (by society standards)! So why wasn’t I HAPPY ? I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
Then Covid hit and everything stopped. I was forced to take a moment to breath. I searched deep inside myself and got hit with a wave of realization: I was lost and had no true purpose to my life. Yikes. Thankfully, I had all the time in the world to explore and find my purpose in life again. And I REALLY explored. I tried EVERYTHING…..courses, coaches, books, blueprints, programs, seminars, webinars, and workshops. If it was out there, I did it. And guess what?
Nothing worked for me. I felt overloaded and overwhelmed with information. I almost felt worse than when I started. Something felt just beyond my reach and I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. My instincts told me there was some KEY out there that would resonate with me, some ROADMAP to guide me to make the necessary changes in my life. But why couldn’t I find it?
Desperate, I hired a coach to help me inventory every single thing going on in my life. We went through it all and then he said something that felt like it came out of nowhere. He suggested I try PLAYING. Which felt…insane. He asked me when the last time I Played was and I…couldn’t give him an answer. It had been so long, I couldn’t remember. After some real hemming and hawing by yours truly, he encouraged me to take a chance that coming week. All I had to do was take 20 minutes and do something I enjoyed as a kid. No problem right?
Well, even with that fairly basic prompt, I was at a loss of what I should do. Tired of thinking about it, I shrugged and decided to go with something I hadn’t done in decades – Play with Legos. So I walked into a children’s store feeling a little weird about it, bought a small Lego set, and I still can’t believe I’m saying this sometimes BUT This opened up the door to the true power of Play!
The rest of that week, I was shocked by how much my stress had decreased and how highly productive I was. Thus began my journey of researching, deep-diving, and experimenting with Play.
It led me to all sorts of amazing changes. I quit my job, ended a beautiful relationship, and moved out of the city I was living in and into the mountains in my Dream Home.
Play opened my eyes and allowed me to see what wasn’t aligning in my life, creating space for myself so I could answer the hard questions I hadn’t been truly facing.
I immediately wanted to share this with other people. Realizing no one was talking about this in the self help space, I decided to build a framework around harnessing the Power of Play. That framework is The Play to Reignite Blueprint.

And I’ll tell you something even more important: if you do what I’m saying, not only will you unlock new levels for yourself, you’ll also unlock new levels for everyone around you. People won’t be able to help being affected by the changes you’re creating within yourself. Yes, I am telling you that by playing, you can become a better friend, coworker, parent, and partner.
Don’t believe me? That’s fine. But I challenge you to prove me wrong. I dare you to play just once a week for at least 30 minutes two weeks in a row and THEN tell me I’m wrong. Tell me you aren’t starting to get mental space and clarity on the changes you want to make. Tell me you aren’t gaining more energy. Tell you aren’t more productive. Tell me you aren’t kinder to those around you because you aren’t as stressed. Prove me wrong!
